What is the Anker Prime Charger (160W, 3 Ports)?
The Anker Prime Charger (160W, 3 Ports) is a compact USB-C wall charger built to replace the pile of bricks in your bag. It has three USB-C ports and 160W of total power. Any one port can push up to 140W, which is enough for a 16-inch MacBook Pro. A small screen on the front shows how much power each device is getting.
What stands out
- 140W from any port. You don't have to remember which port is the fast one. Anker says it charges a 16-inch MacBook Pro from 0 to 50% in 25 minutes.
- Three devices at once. Anker says it charges a 16-inch MacBook Pro, iPhone 16 Pro Max and 11-inch iPad Pro in the same time as their three original chargers.
- A screen you can actually use. It shows live power per port and lets you switch charging modes without an app. The Bluetooth app adds extras like Dual-Laptop Mode.
- Small for the power. It measures 2.56 × 2.05 × 1.38 inches without the prongs, weighs 7.76 oz, and has a foldable plug.
Who is it for?
It suits people who work from cafés, hotels and co-working spaces and want one charger for a big laptop, a phone and a tablet. It's also a good fit if you carry a high-power laptop and are tired of packing its large original brick.
If you only charge a phone and a small laptop, you don't need it. A cheaper 65W or 100W charger will do the job. It's also USB-C only, so it won't help with older USB-A cables.
Our take
On paper, this is one of the most capable chargers you can fit in a pocket. Full 140W on any port and a clear power readout make it easy to live with. The trade-offs are cost and the missing cable: it's premium-priced and you'll need good USB-C cables to get full speed. Buy it if you run a power-hungry laptop and want to travel with a single charger.
