Terms of service

1. Agreement

By using usethisforthat.com (the "Service") you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. What we provide

UseThisForThat is a directory of software tools with reviews, comparisons and deals. Some deals are public, some require a free account ("Members"), and some require a paid Premium membership.

3. Accounts

You're responsible for keeping access to your email/Google account secure and for activity on your account. One account per person. We may suspend accounts that abuse the Service — for example by scraping, reselling, or bulk-sharing members-only promo codes.

4. Premium membership

• Premium is billed in advance, monthly or annually, through Stripe, and renews automatically until cancelled.
• You can cancel any time from Account → Manage billing; you keep access until the end of the paid period.
• Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal.
• Refunds: if a Premium deal you relied on doesn't work and we can't fix it, contact us within 14 days of purchase for a refund.

5. Deals are offered by vendors

Deals, discounts and promo codes are provided by third-party vendors. The vendor — not UseThisForThat — is responsible for honouring the offer, for its product, and for its own terms and privacy policy. Offers can change or end without notice. We aren't a party to any contract between you and a vendor.

6. Reviews and content

Our reviews are opinions provided for information only — not professional advice. Prices and features change; verify details with the vendor before buying. If you submit a review or vendor listing, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to publish it, and you confirm it's accurate and you have the right to share it.

7. Acceptable use

Don't: break the law; interfere with the Service; scrape it at scale; submit false listings or reviews; or generate fraudulent affiliate clicks.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, UseThisForThat isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or $50 if you're a free user).

9. Changes and termination

We may update these terms; we'll post changes here and update the date above. You can stop using the Service at any time.
