Our take

PostHog has a free plan, with paid plans for more features. Its biggest strengths are huge monthly free tier and everything in one platform; the main trade-off is that can be overwhelming. Check the deals on this page before you buy — UseThisForThat members often save on their first months or year.

Huge monthly free tier

We switched to PostHog last year. Huge monthly free tier — that alone justified it for us. Can be overwhelming, but it's a fair trade-off.

Priya Raman · Indie hacker

Solid choice for small teams

PostHog does what it says. Everything in one platform. Setup took an afternoon and the team adopted it right away.

Tom Becker · CTO, Shipyard Labs

Great, with a few caveats

Love Transparent pricing. My only gripe: Costs scale with event volume. Grabbed the deal here and saved a nice chunk on year one.
